Job Description

DKI Calgary is looking for a highly organized and motivated Emergency Coordinator to be the critical first point of contact for our customers during emergency situations such as water, fire, and storm damage.

In this fast-paced role, you will coordinate emergency response services, communicate with clients and internal teams, and help ensure rapid mobilization of our restoration crews. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, has strong communication and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about helping people during stressful and unexpected events.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist a variety of restoration projects concurrently.
- Ensures that project requirements are done within a timely manner with realistic expectations from DKI Calgary in the process.
- Ensure project requirements are being fulfilled, deadlines are met while being conscious of the budget.
- Ensuring the company’s health and safety programs and policies are being followed and by the law are enforced on sites and within the office.
- Build and foster relationships with all internal teams and external customers or vendors
- Review encircle/DKI Complete daily to help ensure quality control and train techs for photos and moisture logs.
- Train new members with onboarding, encircle/DKI complete & Salus
- Train on Salus app, help with maintaining crew records,
- Train on Kahi app and help with equipment tracking
- Assist with developing a plan to manage the effective tracking of consumables being used for large loss sites
- Work hand in hand with the emergency manager to schedule crews and complete day to day tasks

Job Requirements & Qualifications

- Being able to manage several projects, employees and sub-contractors at the same time.
- Experience in the restoration industry.
- Being an excellent team player and leader on external and internal working levels.
- Customer service and the ability to deal with the customer under stressful situations.
- Being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral.
- Being detail oriented and extremely organized.
- Analytical, problem-solving skills and working hands on.
- Proficiency in MS Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Experience with Xactimate and PSA software is an asset.
- Having IICRC certifications is an asset.
